Year 13 student, Jack Paskin, has been selected by The Royal Society of Chemistry to go through to the next round of the Chemistry Olympiad.

Not only does this place Jack in the top 26 students in the UK, but it also gives him a decent chance of qualifying for round 3 where 6 students will take part in a training week in Oxford, followed by the Olympiad final which is held in Moscow.

Jack's next stage is to attend a weekend (5-7th April) at the University of Cambridge for some selection tasks including practical activities. Good luck Jack!
