The Student Union at King Edward VI College chose a cowboy theme for students this year’s Jeans for Genes Day and hoped to raise over £250. Jeans for Genes is a national charity raising funds for children born with genetic disorders which affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK. Genetic disorders are the single, biggest cause of deaths in children and young people aged under 14. So it’s a yee-haa for King Edward’s!
