Subjects Studied:

In 2012 I gained A*A*A* in Chemistry, Biology and my Extended Project Qualification.  I also gained AA in Mathematics and General Studies, and A in English Literature at Advanced Subsidiary level.

Why King Edward’s?

My school had a good sixth form but I wanted to become a more independent person academically and personally.

Outside lessons, what did you most enjoy?

I enjoyed my Life Support course and taking part in ‘The Apprentice’ – a college competition to develop your personal and business skills.  I also enjoyed my time at Cambridge and Nottingham Universities as this heled develop my career thoughts

Where next?

I’ve just started at Birmingham University studying medicine, I hope to graduate and become a paediatric doctor.

How do you think coming to King Edward’s has helped you most?

It has helped me develop my organisational and other skills that will help me in the future.

What words of advice would you offer new students about to start at the college?

Make as many friends as possible – everybody is so friendly - and enjoy yourself. A Levels are hard, so be prepared. Work hard, play harder.

What words or phrases would you use to describe King Edward’s?

A diverse and helpful community. You will meet many different people with different interests, making your college experience more unique and enjoyable.
