Why King Edward’s?

Brilliant reputation.  Everyone was super friendly and the courses are so well organised. I had fabulous vibes on an Open Day visit so decided on the day and I’ve never looked back.

Your favourite subject?

Human Biology.  It made me realise how extraordinary the human body is.

Outside lessons, what did you most enjoy?

I found the Debating Society, Life Support course & voluntary work opportunities were a great way to make new friends. I love a challenge so also enjoyed helping run the college Ethics Society.

Where next?

A gap year in India to do a medical internship followed by Medicine at Kings College, London, in 2013.

How do you think coming to King Edward’s has helped you most?

The college has made me realise my true potential, thanks guys!

What words of advice would you offer new students about to start at the college?

Make as many friends as possible – everybody is so friendly - and enjoy yourself. A Levels are hard, so be prepared. Work hard, play harder.

What words or phrases would you use to describe King Edward’s?

Amazing friendly atmosphere, great prospects, and fantastic chocolate cake in the Junior Common Room!
