Subjects Studied:

In 2012 I gained A*AA for A Levels in Music, English Language and Literature and Mathematics. I also gained A in Art at AS level.
 

What other college activities were you involved in?

I learnt how to produce short films. I’m a keen musician and played with the college Soul Band, Wind Band and Choir.  I was also a member of the Young Enterprise team, with the help of a business mentor organised through college we set up and ran our own business.
 

Why King Edward’s?

It has a fantastic reputation preparing students for top flight universities and the staff are really supportive.
 

Favourite Subject?

Maths. I enjoy exploring and solving numerical challenges.
 

What have you most enjoyed whilst at college?

Taking part in the HE+ programme jointly run by the college and Cambridge University.  I visited Cambridge University twice and really enjoyed the English master-classes as these developed my knowledge beyond A level. Thanks
 

Where next?

I’ve just started a Mathematics & Music joint Honours degree at Birmingham University
 

Career aim?

I’ll either work in music production or follow a career in finance.
