Except for travellers from Worcestershire, the best approach by road is via the motorways.

FROM THE NORTH: use the M6 and M5, leaving the latter at Junction 3. Proceed via the A456 towards Kidderminster, but at Hagley turn off on the A491 towards Stourbridge.

FROM THE EAST MIDLANDS, EAST ANGLIA AND THE SOUTH EAST: approach via the M42, proceeding west bound until the M5 is reached. Watch out for the slip road with sign for Stourbridge and M5 northbound which comes a few hundred metres after Junction 1 of the M42. Proceed northbound on the M5 for one junction only, turning off at Junction 4. Take the A491, signed Stourbridge.

Whatever route is taken, you will eventually arrive on the three lane, one way, Stourbridge Ring Road.

The approach to King Edward’s begins at the one way system when the road goes up a slight hill after a fairly sharp bend. By this stage, you must be in the right-hand lane. The College is signed to the right. Take the first turning to the right along a short slip road, just past a large buff-coloured Sports Hall. The College is then immediately on your right. Visitors’ parking is on the left, inside the College gates.

There is no parking space for student cars on the college site, except for disabled students. Car parking is available nearby in the Birmingham Street car park or any other of the town's pay and display car parks. A limited amount of on-street parking is also available in Lower High Street.

Motorcyclists must register at Reception and only park in the designated areas. Unauthorised vehicles/motorcycles may be clamped. Disabled drivers should also register their vehicles with Reception.
