The college is trialling the use of mobile technology in a range of subjects, creating lots of new and exciting ways for students to learn in and out of the classroom. By these means, King Edward’s will continue to be at the forefront of modern learning practice.

What will this mean for students?

Teachers will use mobile technology as an integral part of lessons, enabling learning to be more current, interactive and to make use of a range of apps to bring to life topics that would benefit from virtual exploration and research. At the same time, many textbooks for the new curriculumare being produced electronically to allow for regular updates with current material, making them more interactive and useful.

All of this means that students will need to either bring their own or buy a college device for use during lessons in order to maximise their learning experience.
