King Edward VI College is an outstanding sixth form college with a national reputation for excellent exam results, superb pastoral support, and a wide range of extra-curricular activities including a partnership with Cambridge University and a strategic partnership with the Royal Bank of Scotland providing advice, guidance and opportunities for students seeking a career in finance.

The college campus, in historic Stourbridge, is located in the middle of the UK, close to England’s second largest city of Birmingham.  The college remains on its original site and has inspired generation after generation of learners for over 450 years.

In 2014 the college maintained its position as one of the very best in the country with an overall A level pass rate of 99.1%.  60% of all grades achieved were A*, A or B and 34% of students achieved ABB or higher and 100% pass rates in 35 subjects. About one third of all students leaving King Edward’s join a Russell Group university, including an increasing number who successfully apply to either Oxford or Cambridge. 

The college offers ambitious and able students from around the world a choice of study programmes including a two week taster course, a twelve week English language development course, and one or two year A level and university preparation courses where students choose from over 40 different A level subjects.

International students live with carefully selected Host Families whose job it is to help students experience life within a British family whilst also improving their English language skills.
