King Edward VI College has been listed as an outstanding college by Ofsted. The Chief Inspector’s Annual Report identified the college, in Stourbridge, as the only outstanding post-16 provider in the Black Country in 2007/8 and one of only three outstanding colleges in the West Midlands. Principal Sharon Phillips expressed her delight at the honour, stating that “Ofsted have recognised that we give students an outstanding all-round education as well as superb results.
