The rugby season culminates over the next week with a crunch home match that could see King Ed's crowned champions of the AOC West Midlands Division 3.

The team has already had one of their best seasons ever racking up 6 league victories and only 1 defeat and the team sits joint top with just one league match to play. Their most recent match, a 40-34 victory at Tresham College, reversed their only defeat of the season so far. Trailing 22-0 the result was all the more pleasing with Tom Hartley scoring three tries. A great all round performance!

Whilst success has been built on powerful team performances with superb individual contributions from every member of the squad there have also been particularly notable season long performances from Kieran Hodson at winger (scored over 100 points so far and had never played rugby till joining King Ed's) and Ben Crofts at fly-half who has captained the team well both on and off the pitch.

Next up for the team is a home league match on Wednesday 13th March versus BMET.

Kick-off is at 2pm at Stourbridge Rugby Club and students and staff are welcome to come along and cheer the team on.
