We have heard of a few great success stories from present and former students of the college lately so we wanted to share them.

We are so proud of current student, Ben Healy, who has been awarded 13th place in the junior test at the World Road Championships, and just 16.19s from the top ten finish he targeted. He said "Yeah, it was pretty good, really, I wanted to break into the top ten so I'm a bit disappointed with the result but I left it all out on the course." We look forward to having you back with us on campus soon.

Current year 13 student Joe Banga, has been given some excellent feedback following his summer work experience with Price Waterhouse Coopers.  Just a few areas that Joe got involved in are listed below:
Learning more about Price Waterhouse Coopers and different lines of service
Developing employability skills
Undertaking group projects and presenting these findings on the final day
Shadowing Price Waterhouse Coopers employees in the business for 3 days
Leaning more about the opportunities available after college

Former year 13 student (2017-18) Alex Turner also had a very positive experience during his work placement in the summer at Russells Hall Hospital. Alex has gone on to study medicine at Sheffield University and achieved three A levels at a grade A in his recent examinations here at King Ed's.

Finally, another sporting win, although sad to lose her, now former student Ebony Salmon, made her dreams come true by being signed to Manchester United/Manchester United Women's Team earlier this year while taking her A levels with us. It was great to have been part of her academic journey.
